I'm new to CBs... but have been riding flats for a while so should I stick with the standard cleats with 15degree release? i.e. Do CBs experts/ long term users/ Enduro riders find this is a better option for Enduro riding than the Easy cleats at 10degree release? Even though I've been riding flats I've come from SPD so I'm just unsure which way to jump.
Hey there, Sorry for the delay with this response!
In short, it really comes down to personal preference. Some long-time CB riders do prefer the 10° but the 15° is far more popular. The 10° would be easier to learn on, and in some cases could be safer for those that have never ridden clipped in before. Some say they clip out too easily for their preference, so it's hard for me to give you a straight answer on the matter but I would suggest trying what you have for now. The only noticeable difference between the 10° and 15° is the amount of rotation needed to unclip from the pedal, so if you think less shoe rotation will improve your ride then trying the 10° might be worth it.
Hope this helps, I know it's a pretty vague answer but it's mostly a matter of preference.
