Where can I find documents for pre 2020 Candy 11 pedals? Is there a document explaining the changes between year models?

Hello Dylan, the 2020 documents cover nearly everything the older documents cover, we've just made some updates to them over the years. Everything listed here is relevant to the current generation(3rd Gen), but it also applies to 2nd Gen and in some cases 1st. We don't have a breakdown of the differences between the generations in pdf format, but I can summarize it here. If you have any specific questions about your pedals, contact Info@crankbrothers.com.

I have just installed a pedal refresh kit on my candy pedals and still seem to have a bit of play in the body to shaft interface. Is this normal?

Hey Rian, before the end cap is installed, there will be some in and out play on the spindle(shaft). The end cap secures the outer bearing which is what keeps the spindle in place. Make sure the end cap is fully seated, if you continue to have this problem, create a ticket by using this link.

Hi , how will identify the model of the candy pedals? It is blue and red in color and came with a 2018 diverge that I bought recently. Couldn’t find the model number anywhere

Hi there- trying to refurbish my candy pedals using the kit. When I use the “igus LL glide bearing”, the pedal shaft is too short for the spindle but to grab threads. If I don’t use the igus, it all fits but will this put too much play into the pedal or pressure on the cartridge bearing? I don’t know the candy model because I bought them used, but they are steel spindle and seem to match pre-2018 description.
